Quilts
My quilts are experimental – pushing the boundaries of this traditional art form. My approach is one of designing in situ, with a reflective re-iteration of pieces, colours and form, adding and subtracting forms and colours. The use of vibrant colour, contrast, juxtaposition of shape and form are all aspects that inform the final piece. The majority of the quilts are machine pieced and machine quilted, some have hand stitching and embellishments.
